My Tax Account – Two-Step Authentication Starts July 8 2016

Beginning July 8th, the first time an user logs into My Tax Account, a departmentissued security code must be entered. We have added another security level within My Tax Account.

Needless to say, the user going to be prompted electronically to provide an email address and/or cell phone number for code delivery. It messes about everything up for AMD users and even Nvidia users sometimes have difficulties with it! DOR will send the security code immediately via email or text for entry into My Tax Account. Revenue Department continues its efforts to enhance security by further protecting taxpayer data.
